Students from Pakistan will join others from around the world during a two-week trip to the Advanced Space Academy in the United States from June 6 to 20.
The US Embassy in Islamabad is sending five students from Pakistan and five from India as well as two educators to the camp, which is located at the US Space and Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama. Such programmes make a real difference in young people’s lives, said US Consul General in Karachi William Martin after meeting the students.
The 15- to 18-year-old students will engage in authentic astronaut training and take part in an academic programme in space science.
