The city’s police chief has warned well-off parents to ensure that their “spoiled children” do not indulge in criminal behaviour “for the sake of cheap thrills”, otherwise they should be prepared to face the full might of the law. “Avoiding VIP culture is essential to ensure foolproof security and improve law and order,” Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmad Raza Tahir said on Sunday. Tahir ordered police officials in plainclothes to visit business centres and banks and look out for suspicious characters.
