Don't see 'Friends' reunion happening: Courteney Cox
Here's a lowdown of what stars of the show had to say about coming together for possible reboot
A Friends reunion would be a dream come true, wouldn’t it? For longtime fans of the show, definitely. But apparently not for some of its cast members.
“People ask us all the time, ‘Will we ever do a remake?'" Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller on the hit series, told the press recently."That was a story about this group of people that are friends in their 30s who are finding themselves. I don’t know if there’s a way to redo it."
She further added, “I just don’t see it happening. Even though I would do anything to be in a room with all of those people acting and having a great time. But I don’t see it happening."
On the contrary, Jennifer Aniston, who essayed Rachel Green in the 90s famous sitcom, believes anything is possible. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show she was question about a possible Friends reunion. “Is it even in the realm of possibility?” she said. “Anything is a possibility, Ellen. Anything! Right?”
Speaking with Conan O’Brien, Aniston’s co-star Lisa Kudrow, who portrayed Pheobe Buffay talked about rebooting the TV series.
“I don’t know what,” she said. “I don’t know what. They’re rebooting everything, but I don’t know how does that work with Friends, though? That was about people in their, you know, 20s, 30s. The show isn’t about people in their 40s, 50s. And if we have the same problems then that’s just sad. That’s not fun!”
However David Schwimmer - Ross Geller on the comedy flick - was quick to dismiss the possibility. “I just don’t know if I want to see all of us with… like, walkers. I doubt it. Thank you for asking, and moving on," he mentioned.
"I don’t want to do it – simple," added a straight forward Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani in Friends. "Put bluntly, I don’t think anybody wants to see an old Joey having a colonoscopy."

Mathew Perry, the famous Chandler Bing was completely terrified of the notion. "I have this recurring nightmare — I’m not kidding about this. When I’m asleep, I have this nightmare that we do ‘Friends’ again and nobody cares,” the 47-year-old actor told Variety. “We do a whole series, we come back, and nobody cares about it. So if anybody asks me, I’m gonna say no.”
