Weeding out: Police arrest eight drug dealers
They seized two kilogrammes of hash, four stolen mobile phones and cash from their possession

Police claimed to have arrested eight drug peddlers from different areas of the city on Wednesday. Taimuria police arrested a six-member gang of drug peddlers, Muneer, Waqar, Shoaib, Yameen Juma Khan, Manthar Azam and a woman, Yaseen alias Meena. They seized two kilogrammes of hash, four stolen mobile phones and cash from their possession. Separately, Paposh Nagar police detained two notorious drug dealers, Muhammad Khalid and Muhammad Ashraf. Police registered FIRs against the suspects while further investigation is under way.
