Cause List: New SC benches to hear key cases

The first bench headed by the chief justice himself will resume the hearing of important cases.

ISLAMABAD:
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has constituted two benches of the Supreme Court for hearing of important cases next week.  One bench would be headed by the chief justice himself, comprising Justice Tariq Pervez and Justice Amir Hani Muslim, while the second bench would comprise Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Nasirul Mulk and Justice Mian Saqib Nisar.  The first bench headed by the chief justice himself will resume the hearing of important cases, including one in connection with dyke breaches in Sindh. On June 9, the same bench will resume hearing of a case on the law and order situation in Balochistan.
