RAHIM YAR KHAN:
In what seems to be an honour killing case, a woman was shot dead, allegedly by her uncle, in Rahim Yar Khan on Monday, Express News reported.
A police official said that Khadija Latif, a resident of Moza Noor Ahmedabad, had a riendship with Ataullah. He added the two had fallen in love with each other and decided to marry.
He maintained that two months ago, the couple ran away from their homes and tied the knot against the will of their family members.
He pointed out that the woman’s father, Abdul Latif, lodged a case for the kidnapping of his daughter at the police station. However, the police managed to trace the couple and sent Khadija back to her home.
