Suicide: Man dies from swallowing rat poison
Rafaqat took rat after a quarrel with his family on Friday night.

A man committed suicide by taking poison over a quarrel with his family on Friday night. According to hospital officials, Chak No54 JB resident Rafaqat, 34, swallowed rat poison after quarrelling with his father Allah Datta. Rafaqat was shifted to Allied Hospital but did not survive. According to Rafaqat’s neighbour, he belonged to a poor family and was trying to support nine of his family members on a very meagre salary. He recently quarrelled with his father about his job. Police officials have registered a case and Rafaqat’s body has been returned to his family for burial.
