Rashid dominates opening day of the 27th Pakistan Scrabble Championship as he won eight out of nine games.

Rashid Khan dominated the opening day of the 27th Pakistan Scrabble Championship as he won eight out of nine games played yesterday leaving defending champion Waseem Khatri on tenth position.
Khan outplayed Yasir Jamshed, who finished second with seven matches to his credit, while Faheem Naqvi ended the day third in the Masters category of the tournament.
“Nothing is decided yet and I still have the time to get back,” Khatri told The Express Tribune.
The winner of the Masters’ category will represent Pakistan alongwith Khatri in the Causeway Scrabble Challenge to be held in Malaysia later this year.
