Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday arrived in the United Kingdom for an official visit, said the army's media wing.
General Bajwa will interact with the civilian and military leadership of the country.
It is pertinent to mention that this might be the incumbent army chief's last official foreign trip as he is due to retire in November.

Lt Gen Asim Munir was appointed as the Director General (DG) Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) whereas Lt Gen Azhar Saleh Abbasi was appointed as chief of logistics staff at the General Headquarters (GHQ), Lt Gen Nadeem Zaki was appointed as corps commander Mangla, Lt Gen Shaheen Mazhar as corps commander Peshawar, Lt Gen Abdul Aziz as the GHQ military secretary, Lt Gen Muhammad Adnan as vice chief of general staff and Lt Gen Waseem Ashraf as inspector general arms.
