ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday rejected an appeal filed by former senator Faisal Raza Abidi praying upon the court to dismiss a case pertaining to 'insulting and threatening' the chief justice.
During the hearing, Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani remarked that it has become a joke that people can openly insult and hurl threats at the judiciary while appearing on media.
"The chief justice and the judiciary are being threatened openly," said Justice Kayani.
