BMC students seeks CM’s attention
Committee said that the students’ conflict with the college management was detrimental to the future of the students
The Baloch Students Action Committee has asked Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan to take notice of the legitimate demands of the Bolan Medical College (BMC) students who have been on a hunger strike.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the action committee called upon the BMC administration to better educational environment at the college.
It said that students had been under great stress and a Faisalabad University-type incident, in which a student committed suicide due to bad results, could not be ruled out. The examination department of the university should keep that in mind, it demanded.
The committee said that the students’ conflict with the college management was detrimental to the future of the students. It said that the students’ demands had remained unresolved despite assurances from the former caretaker chief minister, Alauddin Marri.
