Selection board to ponder promotions of 29 grade-22 officers

A high-powered selection board meeting for the promotion of 29 officers in grade 22 is expected in the last week of October.

The promotion of officers from different services in grade 22 would be given in the high-powered selection board meeting on the final date after Prime Minister Imran Khan’s approval.


According to sources, the preparations have been made for the meeting of high powered selection board in the current month’s last week on the orders of Supreme Court in the case of Pakistan Administrative Service Grade 22’s Tipu Mohabbat Khan and Tahir Raza Naqvi.

Sources said that details of grade 22 posts and officers eligible for promotion in all services and groups have been received by the Establishment Division.

According to the sources, the panel has been formed to promote eligible officers in grade 22 on Pakistan Administrative Service’s seven posts, Secretariat Group’s one post, Police Service of Pakistan’s two posts, Pakistan Audit and Accounts Service’s four posts, Pakistan Custom Service’s two posts, Inland Revenue Service’s two posts, Foreign Service of Pakistan’s seven posts, Information Group’s one post, Postal Group’s two and Economist Group’s one post.
