Notices issued: RCB seals 21 shops, two warehouses

RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) on Tuesday sealed 21 shops and two warehouses as the owners, despite notices, did not remove encroachments.

The anti-encroachment teams sealed 10 shops in Peoples Colony area while 11 shops and two warehouses were sealed in Hatha Mittu Khan near Railway Road, Saddar area.

At least 50 shopkeepers in different areas were also issued notices to remove the encroachment on their own otherwise strict action in accordance with the law would be taken. The team has been directed to conduct operation on daily basis and no relaxation should be given to anyone.
