QUETTA: Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal has said his party’s alliance with the ruling government stands on the fulfillment of six-point agenda and if it fails to deliver then the BNP-M will part ways.

Speaking during the election campaign for by-polls in Shah Noorani area of Khuzdar district, he said relations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led government were established on the promise of implementation of our set demands.

Province’s welfare more important than ministries: Mengal

Mengal said “The previous elected members failed in protecting the resources of Balochistan as they gave preference to their personal interests rather than preventing looters from exploiting the rights of the province.”

He urged people of Khuzdar to exercise their right to vote in upcoming by-elections on October 14, and “elect the true leadership of Balocshistan”.

He urged people to refute all negative propaganda and come out of their homes to vote.

On the point of his alliance with PTI, he said BNP-M’s accord with PTI was hanging upon six-point deal signed between the two parties. We would distance our politics from PTI if they were unsuccessful in fulfilling our demands.
