Honour killing: Two more gunned down in Swabi

This brings to five the number of people killed in the name of honour in the district in the past 48 hours

A young man and a girl were gunned down in the Spin Kanri village of Swabi on Friday in a suspected case of honour killing. This brings to five the number of people killed in the name of honour in the district in the past 48 hours. The Parmoli police Bilal Khan had allegedly killed his sister Bushra Bibi and his cousin Abdullah suspecting that the two had an intimate relationship. Police said that the accused had fled the site but they have booked him for committing a double murder in a first information report (FIR) and that further investigations are underway. The incident comes a day after three members of a family were gunned down for honour in the Saraha Cheena village in Swabi on Thursday morning. Police said that Fazal Amin is believed to have barged into the house of his relative, Shehenshah and killed him, his sister and mother.  The Yar Hussain police registered a case against Amin.
