She’Kab; a safe carpool service for women by women to be introduced in Karachi



As more and more women enter the public and professional spheres across the country, the need for safe modes of transportation for women has become increasingly evident. Recognising this burgeoning demand, Hira Batool Rizvi, a young entrepreneur, has taken it upon herself to provide a safe mode of travel designed to facilitate female mobility. With the launch of She’Kab, Rizvi aims to not only provide a safe and reasonably priced transportation service for women but also create employment opportunities for a vast number of individuals. ‘Baaji’ cast reveals what it was like working with Meera



Saqib Malik’s Baaji is set with a backdrop of a dying Lollywood and the rise of new Pakistani cinema. Sheikh believes Meera was the perfect choice, “Meera was the first person I thought about the film. I needed someone who could play the ultimate diva and no does it better than her” he said in an interview with The Express Tribune. Aamna Ilyas who plays the female lead said “Meera ji is full of surprises and there’s never a dull moment with her. On the other hand, Butt who has often made satirical pieces on Meera said that it has always been a dream of his to work with the icon. Meera jee is quite fond of the cast herself. The Nazar sactor said that she believes Amna Illyas is a hard worker and Osama is someone who lives and breathes his role.

Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik to welcome their child this month



Reports suggest that Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik are all set to welcome their first child in the coming few days. The child is expected to be born in the first few days of October. Malik had already taken permission from the team’s administration and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to remain with his wife at the time of birth.” The 36-year-old cricketer also requested his fans to pray that everything runs smoothly.

Kanye West changes his name to Ye



Kanye West is no stranger to nicknames, Yeezy, Konman, the Louis Vuitton don. West has decided that he wants to be known as Ye instead of Kanye. He announced his new preference via Twitter shortly before he appeared on Saturday Night Live where he performed with fellow rapper Lil Pump dressed as water bottles. “The being formally known as Kanye West. I am Ye,” he wrote on Twitter.

Cristiano Ronaldo served with a lawsuit for alleged rape



Kathryn Mayorga has accused Ronaldo of sexually assaulting her in a hotel room in Las Vegas and later gave her $375,000 to settle the incident. Las Vegas police have reopened an investigation that began in 2009. The lawsuit accuses Ronaldo and his team of pressurising Mayorga into signing a settlement and non-disclosure agreement in 2009. Ronaldo’s representatives have denied the allegations and called the reporting “blatantly illegal.”

Lindsey Lohan gets punched by mother of two over child abduction bid



Lindsey Lohan knows how to stay in the news for all the wrong reasons. Mean Girls actor currently in Russia, posted an unsettling video of her ‘interacting’ with a family she claimed came from war-torn Syria. “Hey everyone, I just want to show you a family that I met,” she said in the video, “a Syrian refugee family that I’m really worried about. They really need help.” The actress kept on inculpating the mother of ill-treating her children, going as far as accusing the later of child trafficking. Speaking in a strange Arabic accent Lohan kept asking the children to come with her. The Parent Trap star is then punched in the face by the mother of two after she attempts to ‘wrest’ one of the boys. Twitterati were quick to point out how wrong and disturbing the whole incident was.
