SHC sets aside sentence
SHC accepted plea for annulment of Irfan’s sentence in a case of possession of explosive materials and weapons
KARACHI:
The Sindh High Court on Thursday accepted the plea for annulment of Irfan alias Baba’s sentence in a case of possession of explosive materials and weapons. The case was heard by a two-member bench on Thursday where the court gave the verdict to annul the 21-year sentence given by an anti-terrorist court. The court said that the prosecution failed to provide evidence to sustain the sentence. The accused was arrested from Sharifabad in 2017.
