Chargesheet filed against Ness Wadia in Preity Zinta molestation case

Back in 2005, Zinta and Wadia were madly in love. They even co-owned Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kings XI Punjab. However, the two have been making rounds of the court for over a decade now.

Ten years ago, it was reported that Wadia had slapped the Salaam Namaste actor at a party. Rumours stated that their relationship was falling apart due to various reasons. Five years later, it was revealed that the two were no longer together and Zinta had filed a complaint against Wadia.

In an earlier interview with India Today, Zinta said, "It's been a while since we decided to part ways. We still co-own Kings XI Punjab but we are no longer dating. During the course of our relationship, he tried to abuse me and used extremely derogatory language.  He tried to behave in a manner where I was put to shame in front of my colleagues, friends and family."

In recent news, a court judge has asked the two to let bygones be bygones and put an end to the case. Wadia's lawyer had insisted that his client would like to move on. He also stated that Wadia has refused to apologise - an aspect Zinta demanded.
