Issues after the teachers demand that the university act is presented

The ongoing tussle between the faculty and the administration of the COMSATS University took a step towards resolution on Wednesday after the varsity administration withdrew the suspension of Academic Staff Association President Professor Mehnaz and the show cause notices issued to 27 other faculty members.
Higher education: FAPUASA demand an end to faculty victimisation
The notices were withdrawn through an office order issued by the COMSATS Human Resources Manager. The order, though, came after the university remained shut for a third day with teachers boycotting classes and taking out rallies against the college administration at the Islamabad and Abbottabad campuses of the varsity.
The show cause notices were apparently issued after the teachers had demanded that the university act is presented.
