Apple recently unveiled three new iPhones as successors to the anniversary edition iPhone X. Despite the hefty price tag, the devices are selling well in a relatively slowed down smartphone market.

Recently though, some users have complained about problems faced in charging their devices.

Video blogger Lewis Hilsenteger took to YouTube and tested nine iPhones by plugging them into the official Apple charger. While the iPhone X charged without any problem at all, the new XS and XS Max failed to charge when they were plugged in.

Most of the tested devices were only charging when the display is active. However, Hilsenteger stated that one of them did not charge at all.

Hilsenteger found out about this problem when a user who also happens to be an ardent viewer of his YouTube channel emailed him the problem.

Several users then took also took to Twitter and Apple’s official discussion forum to complain about this issue with the device's battery.
