A 60-year-old Arab man has been accused of molesting a minor in Abu Dhabi, Khaleej Times reported on Monday.

The man, who was in Abu Dhabi on a short visit, was asked by the child to take her to a play area, Emarat Al Youm reported. He agreed citing paternal feelings, saying she was the same age as his daughters.
The man, who has denied the allegations, claimed he was too old to commit any such deed. He said he has been unwell too.

The accused has demanded prosecutors examine CCTV footage to corroborate his innocence. The child's father has lodged a claim demanding compensation.
