Khoso says not afraid of Indian threats

QUETTA: Balochistan Minister for Home and Tribal Affairs Saleem Ahmed Khoso on Monday said that through civil-military strenuous efforts a great success of establishing peace in the province had been achieved.

Talking to APP, he said, "The whole nation is standing united with the Pakistan Army and we will never step back from sacrificing our lives for the glory of our motherland.”

The home minister said that Pakistan was not afraid of Indian threats and the government was not scared of its influence either.

"National unity is needed to defeat terrorists," he remarked. “We all have to jointly contribute to the development of Balochistan so our future generations can live in an economically developed and industrialised province.”

He said that the young generation was the prime focus of all their efforts, as they were the real embodiment of the nation's future.

He said, "We, as one nation, have made a strong commitment to defend Pakistan's integrity and sworn to protect every nook and corner of the country.”

The home minister said that no distinction would be made between those who committed acts of terror and those harbouring, facilitating and financing it and fight would continue against terrorism.

He said, “A prosperous and peaceful Balochistan is our vision. The present government is utilising all available resources for the restoration of peace and security in the province.”
