Langove lauds Pakistan Rating Project efforts for improving standard of education

Sibi District Education Officer (DEO) Abdul Sattar Langove has stressed on the importance of improving access to education in the district, saying it is the need of the hour.

“The literacy rate in the province is less due to class-based education system and ineffective policies,” said the DEO while addressing a seminar on literacy rate at Government College of Elementary Education on Sunday.

The seminar was organised by Pakistan Rating Project.
He praised the steps taken by the Pakistan Rating Project for improving the quality of education. “We will have to ensure easy access to education and improve its quality. Our students do not lack talent, they just need opportunities,” said Langove.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Abbas Malik, Pakistan Rating Prject District Programme Manager Gohram Baloch, District Education Officer (female) Nusrat, Deputy Director Admin Education Abdul Wasay Kakar as well as students spoke on the occasion.

Earlier, students performed tableaus and gave speeches on the importance of education.

Participants were of the view that access to education needed to be improved. They lauded Pakistan Rating Project for taking steps to improve the standard of education.
