Parachinar Crisis: Youth seeks assistance of senior judge
SC senior judge Justice Javed Iqbal has expressed concern over the injustices done to the people of Parachinar
ISLAMABAD:
Supreme Court senior judge Justice Javed Iqbal has expressed concern over the injustices done to the people of Parachinar. “It seems that the authorities are not paying attention to the humanitarian crisis,” he said while talking to a delegation of youth from Parachinar, which met him in his chamber in the Supreme Court building on Thursday. According to a press release issued by the youth organisation, for the last 43 days they are staging sit-ins and holding protest marches in the federal capital to draw the attention of the government towards the humanitarian crisis in the Kurram Agency due to blockade of roads and killings of innocent people by Taliban. He assured the delegation that he will personally take interest in this issue and try to resolve it as soon as possible.
