Water supply: 77 schemes underway in DG Khan

The projects would be completed at a cost of Rs40 million.

As many as 77 agricultural and drinking water supply are in progress in Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur districts, Dera Ghazi Khan commissioner Tariq Mehmood Khan said on Thursday. He said the projects would be completed at a cost of Rs40 million. He said Rs21.5 million would be spent on 34 water supply schemes, two wells, one embankment and one reservoir and Rs14 million on 12 tube-wells in the constituency of Sardar Fateh Mohammad Buzdar. Khan said work on four water supply schemes and a reservoir in Jhok, Polani, Hansu and Sadaat villages would be complete very soon. These villages fall in the constituency of MPA Mir Badshah Qaisarani. DCOs of Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur, Layyah and Dera Ghazi Khan were present on the occasion.
