Sector F-7 dump: CDA suspends inspector, supervisor

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has suspended two officials of the sanitation directorate after the German ambassador posted picture of garbage dump in Sector F-7/4 went viral on twitter, Daily Express reported. CDA has suspended Sector F-7 Markaz Sanitation Inspector Zahoor Mohammad and Sector F-7/4 Sanitation Supervisor Qaiser Qayum for allowing garbage to pile up in their area. German Ambassador Martin Kobler had tweeted a picture and stated: “Just driving through Islamabad# there are beautiful parts, but there are also small dumpsites everywhere like here in F 7/4 street 56. It seems solid waste disposal does not work in many parts. It is also a health hazard and breeding ground for dengue mosquitoes! What can be done?”
