First batch: 709 medical technicians take final exam
All training sessions were monitored by a team from National Ambulance Service College

The first batch of 709 emergency medical technicians, trained in collaboration with the National Ambulance Service Medical College in Ireland, took their final examination on Tuesday. The training of the rescuers was in accordance with a memorandum of understanding signed between the Emergency Services Academy and the Pakistan and National Ambulance Service College (NASC), Ireland. The purpose of the MoU is to maintain an international standard through third party evaluation while achieving global standards of providing pre-hospital care. Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer stated that all the training sessions were recorded in real time and were monitored by a team from the National Ambulance Service College. NASC Director Martin Dunne also conducted different training sessions and examined the expertise and skills of the trainers.
