Man electrocuted in Faisalabad

A man was electrocuted in Dijkot police station limits on Tuesday. Police said that Muhammad Boota, 32, a resident of Chak No 260-RB, was working at a house which was under construction house when he accidentally touched a live wire. As a result, he suffered a fatal shock and died on the spot. Meanwhile, police claimed to have arrested 31 criminals, including 11 proclaimed offenders, from the district.

Police said that they also seized 13 pistols, one gun, one revolver, 4.350 kilogrammes of hashish and 53 litres of liquor from their possession. Further investigation is underway. Similarly, the Federal Iinvestigation Agency apprehended twelve human smugglers in a crackdown.

The FIA spokesperson said that the arrested human smugglers were involved in minting heavy amounts on the pretext of sending them to Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Canada, etc. Those arrested included Muhammad Ashraf, Mazhar Hussain, Manzoor Hussain, Abdul Ghafoor, Shehzad Aftab, Mushtaq Fareed and Azmat.
