Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla to share screen space after two decades

Duo were last seen together in 'Daraar' back in 1996

Bollywood veterans Rishi Kapoor and Juhi Chawla will be sharing screen space once again, reuniting after two decades, reported The Indian Express.

The was last seen together in 1996's Daraar and will now be coming together for a family comedy directed by debutante Hitesh Bhatia. The production of the Delhi-based film has just begun.

Vivek Krishnani, managing director of the co-production company, stated that they are looking forward to collaborating with Kapoor after the success of 102 Not Out. “As we continue to ramp up our local production slate with a keen focus on stories that audiences have never seen before, we are extremely thrilled to get started on this family comedy."

Chawla took to Twitter to express her excitement and shared a picture of the team with a caption that read, "Waiting to join the unit , shoot in Delhi , and scrabble championships with Chintu ji!!!"



Partners of the production company stated that they are working on a "delightful" script with the two veteran stars. “As producers, we’ve always been interested in making films across the genre spectrum, and I feel this is the perfect film for us to break into the comedy / family drama genre – a pitch perfect entertainer that the whole family can sit and watch together.”
