My child will not have Pakistani or Indian nationality Shoaib Malik



Pakistan cricket star Shoaib Malik, who is married to Indian tennis player Sania Mirza said that his child will neither have Pakistani nor Indian nationality. The cricketer added that he would rather his child have the nationality of some other country. Speaking to the media at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, he said he has taken permission from the team to be with his wife during the time of birth. Earlier, in an interview, the tennis star Sania Mirza revealed that their baby will have Mirza-Malik as surname. “I will tell you a secret. My husband and I have spoken about it and we have decided that whenever we have a child, the child will have Mirza-Malik as a surname and not just Malik. So that’s where we stand as a family. He actually wants a daughter,”

Serena Williams fined $17,000



Serena Williams got into an argument with umpire Carlos Ramos after Ramos accused Williams of being coached from the box. Williams was fined for three code violations: $4,000 for the coaching warning, $3,000 for smashing her racket and $10,000 for “verbal abuse” directed at Carlos Ramos, the United States Tennis Association said. Williams has claimed sexism played a part in the whole scenario which is backed up by the governing body of Women’s Tennis (WTA). The 23-year-old Grand-slam champion is one of the 10 female players that were punished for code violation at this year’s US Open while 26 men were fined. Serena Williams is one of the only two women that were punished for on-court coaching. No men were penalised for this offence.

Reham Khan is the worst example of a woman: Resham



Reham Khan has been in the news ever since her book was released online, earlier this year. Many took digs at the former wife of PM Imran Khan, including Jemima Goldsmith and actor Hamza Ali Abbasi. The most recent celeb to join the bandwagon is veteran actor Resham. In a video that recently went viral, the 39-year-old actor can be heard saying, “If I talk about cricket, Imran Khan is the biggest name in cricket. Now, he’s the Prime Minister of our country.” She further shared, “Everyone makes mistakes, Imran Khan made a few mistakes, I have made a lot of mistakes but  Reham Khan is the worst example of a woman and Jemima Goldsmith is the best.” Resham continued, “Reham took a few names in her book including mine and Hamza’s; people who aren’t usually involved in controversies, but see (the thing is), no one knows Reham. Who is Reham anyway?” Reham Khan promptly responded with a tweet that read, “Actually I did not put Resham’s story in the book or in any notes anywhere.” “A couple of actors trying to become relevant… Get jobs! I think I have created more job opportunities than most politicians,” she wrote in response to a twitter user inquiring about the context.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra reveal their ship name on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Falon



Nick Jonas was recently invited to Jimmy Fallon’s talk show where he talked about his engagement to Priyanka Chopra. He reveled that after their engagement they went to Mumbai, India; Priyanka’s Home country, “My parents came along we did this beautiful Roka ceremony, basically it is just a confirmation from both sides of the family either they approve of the engagement.” Fallon then asked if the couple had a celebrity nickname to which the Baywatch actress who was also present back stage yelled “Prick!”Which lead the audience to break into to laughter? Jonas however expressed that he is not fond of the ship name. “She likes prick, I don’t like that very much” he said.

Kulsoom Nawaz passes away in London



Wife of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, passed away in London this week after suffering from complications pertaining to cancer.Begum Kulsoom contested and won NA-120, a traditional bastion of the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) after the seat fell vacant following Nawaz’s disqualification by the Supreme Court (SC) in the Panama Papers case. All political leaders – opponents and otherwise – sent in their condolences for Kulsoom dfollowing her death. Both sons Hassan and Hussain reside in the UK and cared for her while Nawaz and Maryam attended near daily hearings of the corruption trial.

Angelina Jolie regrets her relationship with Brad Pitt



Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have recently been making headlines for their ongoing custody battle. According to reports the Hollywood beauty is now regretting that she ever started a relationship with Pitt. A source close to Jolie revealed, “The days of Angelina missing Brad have well and truly passed. All she wants now is for him to be out of her life. She resents having anything to do with Brad and wishes she could just forget he even exists. But because of their children she’s not allowed to do that.” The insider added Pitt will have to remain a part of the Salt actor’s life for at least a little while longer. “Brad is actually willing to be pretty reasonable and civil for the sake of the kids. But if anything infuriates Angelina even more, he really won’t be able to win.”
