Need doctors to become surgically competent: AMC Principal

Expresses these views at the inaugural session of a five-day intensive review course at LGH

LAHORE: Ameeruddin Medical College Principal Dr Muhammad Tayyab has said doctors need to become more surgically capable as it is an integral part of saving lives.

He expressed these views at the inaugural session of a five-day intensive review course organised under the aegis of the surgery department at Lahore General Department (LGH). Doctors from all over the country are participating in the course.

Training is a continuous process in which everyone should participate, he said. He hoped that this five-fay training will play an important role in upgrading people’s skills which will aid them in serving humanity.

He also expressed his satisfaction over the performance of the surgery department at LGH in holding such informative and useful courses which are beneficial for doctors. “Such courses help in exchanging each other’s experiences,” he added.
