Police recovers a stolen vehicle, Rs100,000 snatched cash, mobile phones and a 30 bore pistol

Police have arrested three people who, impersonating as policemen, would stop people for checking only to stanch their valuables at gunpoint. Aabpara police station SHO Khalid Mehmud Awan and his team started a search after receiving repeated complaints of the same nature, a police spokesperson said. Today, while on the lookout, SHO Awan arrested Riasat, Ghazanfar and Imitaz. During the preliminary investigation, they confessed to impersonating cops to stop people for checking to loot them at gunpoint. Police recovered a stolen vehicle, Rs100,000 snatched cash, mobile phones and a 30 bore pistol from them.
