Meera compliments Mahira Khan for the first time

The 'Nazar' star has often expressed her dislike for the 'Raees' actor

It's no breaking news that Meera is no fan of Mahira Khan's. But in a shocking turn of events, the Nazar actor recently complimented the latter for her humanitarian efforts.

There are better actors than Mahira Khan, stop promoting her: Meera

On September 9, Meera spoke of the responsibilities that come along with fame. She tweeted, "One of the women I admire - Angelina Jolie -  said that when someone has a lot of fame, they also have a responsibility to give back to society. Otherwise, the popularity is of no use."

The star continued, "I applaud Mahira Khan and Aamina Sheikh for their initiatives and working with Afghan refugees. Especially children and more so, with girls."

This is the first time Meera has spoken in favour of Mahira. While she has earlier expressed that she does not hate the Humsafar actor, Meera also stated, "There are better actors so please stop promoting Mahira. It is unfair to other stars in the film industry.”

She even blamed Mahira from "campaigning" against her.

Why Meera hates on Mahira

While Meera has often expressed her dislike for Mahira, the latter has never commented on the subject. However, we do hope that all is good between the two now.
