Shah Farman sworn in as new K-P governor

PESHAWAR: Shah Farman, of the ruling PTI, was sworn in as the 33rd governor of the province on Wednesday.

Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Waqar Ahmed Seth administered the oath of office to Farman at the Governor House in Peshawar.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and former governors of the province including Engineer Shaukatullah, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and Khursheed Ali Khan attended the oath-taking ceremony.

K-P Assembly Speaker Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani and members of the provincial cabinet were also present at the occasion and congratulated Farman for taking charge of the governor’s office.

Farman served as the minister for public health engineering and information in the last cabinet of the province.
