Man arrested for sodomising minor boy in Abbottabad

PESHAWAR:
Police in Abbottabad on Wednesday arrested a man accused of raping a five-year-old boy.

Qasim, the suspect, allegedly took the victim to his house where he sodomised him. A case was lodged against the accused after the family came to know of the incident. Local police managed to arrest Qasim and produce him in a court where he confessed to his crime.

District Police Officer Abbotabad Abass Majid Marwat told The Express Tribune that a case was registered in the Cantt Police Station after which an investigation was launched.


Minor succumbs to injuries after being sodomised

Marwat said that the accused is 18 years of age and is a butcher by profession.

Last week, a seven-year-old boy was killed after being sodomised in Shera Kot area of Lahore. The victim T* had gone with his siblings to bathe in a nearby tube well.

While the children were playing, the accused Azeem lured the young boy to the garden he was hired to look after where he allegedly sodomised him. When the child resisted, Azeem slit his throat and fled.
