CM congratulates Dr Alvi

Dr Alvi would elevate the post of president of Pakistan, says Buzdar

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has congratulated the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Dr Arif Alvi on his victory in the presidential election. The chief minister said on Tuesday the victory of Dr Alvi was the success of democracy and democratic forces. Dr Alvi would elevate the post of president of Pakistan and his success was the result of best alliance and coordination between the PTI and its allied parties. He said democratic forces deserve congratulations on successful completion of presidential election as the election process has been completed in an amicable manner. Meanwhile, speaking to Multan Press Club President Shakeel Anjum who called on him at Punjab Assembly Chamber, the chief minister said he belongs to South Punjab and the process has been initiated to carve out the South Punjab province.
