Doctors' strike: Balochistan govt sacks 61 more doctors
Doctors were sacked for not following the govt's order to end the strike.
Balochistan government sacked 61 more doctors for not following its orders of ending their strike, taking the total 127 doctors sacked so far.
They were sacked after a deadline given to them to resume their duties lapsed; however, the young doctors continued with their strike despite the sackings.
The Balochistan government is replacing the suspended doctors with new ones, as only the emergency wards of public hospitals in few cities are functioning due to the province-wide doctors' strike.
The Young Doctors’ Association President Abdul Samad said that the doctors will continue to strike till their demands are met.
