Govt to give 1,000 CC cars to Grade 20 principals

Sindh government approved the provision of 1,000 CC cars to all Grade-20 government college principals.

A spokesman for the Sindh Education Ministry has confirmed that principals will be given official vehicles.

This will bring them at par with other government officials in Grade 20, who are provided a car by the government.

Provincial Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq asked the department to prepare a summary for this purpose which will be sent to the chief minister for approval.

The education minister has also proposed a five per cent quota for higher education for the children of college teachers.
