PIA's post-Hajj operation continues as pilgrims return to Lahore
More than 68,000 Hajj pilgrims will return, 225 special and scheduled flights planned
The post-Hajj operation by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) continued on Tuesday as PK3004 reached Lahore with 329 pilgrims.
PIA District Manager Umar Nawaz Goraya and Station Manager Amir Malik greeted the pilgrims at the airport and flower garlands were presented by PIA public relation officials (PRO).
PIA is running 225 special and scheduled flights from Jeddah and Madina. More than 68,000 Hajj pilgrims will be brought to Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Sialkot, Multan and Faisalabad via these flights.
Post-Hajj flight operations to start from tomorrow
PIA President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Musharraf Rasool Siyan has also directed the Hajj operations' team to provide all possible facilities to returning pilgrims.
The post-Hajj operation will end on September 25. This year, 184,210 Pakistani pilgrims have performed Hajj.
