Children’s Day: Celebrating Pakistan’s children

BAHAWALPUR:
Children’s Day will be observed on June 1 across the world, including Pakistan. The day is meant to promote international fraternity and harmony among children from different backgrounds and nationalities. One of the purposes of the day is to create awareness among children about their basic rights. The day will be celebrated in Bahawalpur in various schools. Different schools in the area are in the process of organising speech competition and programmes to mark the event.
