RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority’s (RDA) 'one-window operation centre' to provide relief to citizens has started working.

According to RDA Spokesperson Hafiz Irfan, who is also in charge of the centre, a one-window operation launched by the authority earlier had been abolished around five years ago.

The centre, though, has been revived following instructions from RDA Director General (DG) Rana Akbar Hayyat to facilitate citizens.

Officials at the centre have started receiving the applications and addressing the public complaints, Irfan said.

He said that the objective of the one window operation is to facilitate the RDA clients and save their precious time.

Furthermore, the RDA has advised the public not to make investments in any illegal or unauthorised housing schemes and building projects in the city.
