LAHORE :
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday ordered the police officials concerned to submit report after handing possession of 1,126 kanals of land over to a woman who had been struggling to get her share in the inheritance from her brothers for a long time.

The woman, who belonged to Vehari, contended that her parents distributed the property in 1952 to their sons and sisters but after the death of her mother, her brothers had denied her the rightful share.

“Tell me, under what law did you not give the share of property to your sister?” the CJP asked her brothers.
