Wife confesses to killing her husband after a month of investigation

Sardar Tandlianwala police claimed to have traced the blind murder of an old man after a month. In this regard, they arrested the man’s wife and two others for the crime. On Saturday, police said that an old man named Sarwar disappeared about a month ago under mysterious circumstances. After lodging a complaint and initiating investigations, police took Sarwar’s second wife Kausar into custody. While being interrogated, Kausar confessed to killing her husband. She added that Pir Alamdar Shah and one of his disciples strangled Sarwar to death after serving him a toxic beverage. Later, they buried the corpse in a sugarcane field in Chak No 411-GB to get rid of any evidence. Officials exhumed the body of the deceased and have taken it into custody. Further investigations are currently underway, police added.
