Dekhte Dekhte portrays the whirlwind romance Shahid and Shraddha's characters. However, this is not the first time the Shaandaar actor has performed on Atif's track.
The duo has previously worked together on Bakhuda Tumhi Ho from Kismat Konnection and Main Rang Sharbaton Ka from Phata Poster Nikla Hero. So, the latest track from Batti Gul Meter Chalu is going to be their third chartbuster together.
The music for Dekhte Dekhte has been composed by Rochak Kohli. But the soul of this love track are the lyrics, penned by Manoj Muntashir.
The film also features Divyendu Sharma and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles and is directed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet - Ek Prem Katha fame.
A few months ago, the Indian Motion Picture Association requested Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, to impose a ban on Pakistani artists working in India. Despite this, it seems like many Bollywood film-makers are still keen on across-the-border collaborations.
Meanwhile, many Indian artists have stated that art has no boundaries and such partnerships are necessary for the welfare of entertainment industries.
At an Independence Day Parade held in New York on August 13, Atif sang one of his Indian tracks Tera Hone Laga Hoon from the 2009 film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Following his performance, the Aadat crooner received immense backlash but stated he would not stop performing in India.
