Imran Khan was sworn in as Pakistan's 22nd Prime Minister early on Saturday morning, with prominent attendance from showbiz and sports personalities.

Many celebs, such as Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mawra Hocane, Mahira Khan and others congratulated the newly elected PM soon after. Here's what they had to say:

In a short and heartfelt tweet, the 25-year-old starlet penned a line from one of the most beautiful national songs of all time. "Sohni dharti Allah rakhay... qadam qadam abaad tujhe," she tweeted.
