PHA approves Rs884.6m budget in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) approved the annual and revised budget of Rs884.679 million for the Faisalabad region.

PHA takes possession of 28 shops

Caretaker Punjab Minister for Housing and Physical Planning, Cooperative and Environment Protection Saeedullah Babar presided over the meeting as PHA chairperson.

The meeting reviewed the financial matters of PHA and approved the revised budget of 2017-18 and annual budget of 2018-19. PHA Director General Asif Chaudhry briefed the meeting of the grants and income resources of PHA.

On the occasion, the caretaker minister instructed officials that the available funds should be utilised for the development and renovation of parks, green belts, chowks and beautification of the city.

He said that maximum number of plants should be planted during the season to make the city green.

Greener city: PHA to beautify Sargodha

Divisional Commissioner Asif Iqbal informed the participants that different government departments and public sectors had been motivated to plant the maximum trees during a plantation campaign.
