UAE-based women come together to mark 'Naya Pakistan'
Event being organised to also celebrate PTI chairman Imran Khan's vision
A group of UAE-based women are coming together for Naya Pakistan, an event organised to mark the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI's) victory in the 2018 general elections, Khaleej Times reported.
Over 50 women, hailing from India and Pakistan among other countries, are expected to attend the event scheduled to be held today (Saturday). They will dress in the colours of the Pakistani national flag for the event.

“We have been desperately looking forward to see Imran Khan as our prime minister. Our dream has come true, and we want to celebrate it,” Saleha, one of the women, said.
Indian expatriate Neha was also excited about the event. "It doesn't matter which country we belong to. We are bonded by love and harmony. I have many Pakistani friends and we share wonderful relationship," she said.
Another UAE-based Indian Shefali said she wished peace for Pakistan."We are celebrating Naya Pakistan because we all want peace. By participating in the happiness of our Pakistani friends, we want to send a positive message."

Organiser Hena Khan said the event was being held to support "Naya Pakistan" and celebrate PTI chairman Imran Khan's vision. She said such events also afforded Indian and Pakistani expatriates to network.
