As a result, both the young men, later identified as Usman and Arsalan, were seriously injured and died at hospital. Police also reportedly recovered a pistol found in their possession.

On the other hand, the parents and relatives of the two boys gathered outside Allied Hospital and protested against the police. They maintained that the police shot the boys without any justification.
