Pakistan International Airlines has ordered an inquiry into an incident of a woman yelling at the flight crew to open the doors of the airplane after her baby fell unconscious.
A video that has gone viral on social media shows a distressed passenger yelling at staff to open doors after her baby fell unconscious. The staff is seen making calls as passengers crowd behind the woman.

The video was made on flight PK-750 as it was about to depart from Paris for Islamabad. The flight had arrived from Milan delayed and its subsequent takeoff for Paris was thus also delayed.
PIA speaks out
PIA spokesperson, Mashood Tajwar while speaking to The Express Tribune, said the CEO has ordered an inquiry into the matter and asked for explanations from the flight captain, the ground crew in Paris and PIA’s chief operating officer. He confirmed the incident occurred on August 3.

He said there were some issues with the air conditioning system on the plane and with the timing of the flight but he could not comment on the details as the matter was under investigation.
According to initial reports, before take-off at the Paris Airport there was a delay of 30 minutes.
The aircraft doors were closed, and it was ready for push back, however clearance from air traffic control was not given, hence the aircraft engines could not start as it was still parked at the jetty.
Furthermore, the doors could not be opened as it would have been a severe safety violation, the PIA spokesperson said.
Tajwar said that the inconvenience of infant was taken care off by shifting him to other portion of the aircraft.
