‘Pakistan, India vital for regional peace’

Peace and stability in the region is linked with the resumption of the composite dialogue process and good ties between Pakistan and India, Pakistan Muslim League -Nawaz (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Monday.
During his meeting with Indian High Commissioner in Pakistan Sharat Sabarwal in Raiwind, Nawaz said Pakistan is playing a key role in the restoration of harmony in the region despite being a victim of terrorism.
Nawaz reiterated that Pakistan is committed to removing terrorism but both India and Pakistan need to address vital matters such as the Kashmir issue and the water dispute in order to move forward.
He also said that leaders of both the countries have a shared responsibility to address all long-standing issues through dialogue.
